Innovation Day
 wasn’t just a place for well-established researchers and partners to show their technologies. It was also an opportunity for upcoming talent to present their innovative projects. One very interesting project that I saw was Signal. Signal is a sign language teaching environment being developed by four students from the National University of Ireland Maynooth. Their project was the winning entry at the Irish final of the Microsoft Imagine Cup competition 2007.

Daniel Kelly and Mark Clerkin were on hand in Brussels to present their interactive sign language teaching environment and Daniel showed me the demo video about the program and explained how it all works.

<itunes:summary>
