Gatineau Demo at Web Analytics Day

, an annual industry conference held Sept. 14th in Brussels, Belgium, were treated to a 15-minute demo of Microsoft’s upcoming free web analytics tool codenamed
Gatineau
.
Ian Thomas
, Director at
Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions
, took the stage to highlight some of Gatineau's goals, which include: out-of-the-box demographic segmentation, an integrated view of marketing campaign effectiveness, an integration of conversion value data, and an innovative visualisation of behavioural data.

. Gatineau, which is likely to be released in beta later this summer, will let you view reports, manage goals, and manage campaigns once you have set up a profile & added a tracking script to your blog or website.
